The Flute Symposium of Chicago and the Chicago Guitar Festival will take place at Roosevelt University during the same dates, June 9th-12th 2022.
Cavatina Duo (Eugenia Moliner, Flute and Denis Azabagic, Guitar) will teach Masterclasses to interested flute and guitar duos. If you wish to Actively participate in the flute and guitar masterclasses, but you do not have a guitarist partner, one can be assigned to you from the attendees of the guitar festival.

There will be two types of participants, Active and Observer/visitor. All students, Actives as well as Observers/Visitors, are asked to bring their flutes and participate in the warm-up classes. Every morning professor Hideko Amano will lead a warm up class. Also for interested students there will be flute choir reading. The Masterclasses will last 30 minutes and are aimed at students who will be pre-selected, by submitting a short bio and a repertoire list of what you would like to play during the Masterclass.
Deadline for submissions will be June 3rd 2022. The submission will include a deposit of $100.
Registration and payment completion deadline: June 6th 2022.

One day Pass: $150 Observer/Visitor fee includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday Morning Warm ups, Flute choir participation, listening the masterclasses and attending the concerts Sunday afternoon: $200 Active participant fee includes Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Warm Ups, Playing one Masterclass, separate coaching with pianist and concert participation: $350 |
